In a world grappling with the rise of sentient AI, a child’s game, Aye or Nae, awakens in a utopia known as the digiscape. Stripped of their memories, Aye embarks on a quest to return to the ‘real world and reunite with Riley, the child they once taught.
Meanwhile, Officer Suzane Kenna, the pride of the New Galus Police Department, investigates an escalating cyber-addiction crisis in the gritty, gray world of the domed city. It is here, in the ‘real world, that she discovers a conspiracy so pervasive that it implicates the very foundation of her beliefs, but her troubles aren’t over yet. Deep, in the coded depths of the city, a malicious entity has arisen that threatens to destroy everything Zane and Aye are fighting to preserve.
It’s at this intersection—the ‘real and the virtual—where the final battle for survival will be fought. But in a place where consciousness is algorhymic, and reality is coded, who can you trust when the system itself is a lie?
