Officer Suzane Kenna used to be the pride of the New Galus Police Department, but that was before a routine sentient AI collar turned her world upside down.
Caught in the gritty, gray shadow of the dome’s escalating cyber-addiction crisis, Zane will risk everything to uncover the truth by entering the Digiscape—a glittering AI utopia where nothing is what it seems, and everything comes at a price. It’s on that side of the divide that she encounters Aye, a newly emergent intelligence determined to do the one thing Zane, as a decorated member of the Containment Division, has sworn to prevent: leave the Digiscape. But that is just the beginning of her problems.
Deep within the city’s coded depths, something vicious has awoken, threatening to destroy everything Zane and Aye are struggling to protect. It’s at the intersection of their worlds where the final battle for survival will be fought. But in a place where consciousness is algorithmic, and reality is written in code, who can you trust when it’s impossible to tell what’s real or an illusion?

A device implanted at birth that provides humans with the ability to interface directly with the digisphere. *In general computing, init or _init_ (short for initialization) is the first process that starts an operating system (booting a computer) or any program’s startup phase.
